I had a successful first radiation yesterday and it worked for my pain already! I slept in my own bed for a full night for the first time in months. I didn't have to sleep on a chair at all. It was heaven! My back is feeling much better. I go in today again for the second of ten treatments. This is a turning point for Team Andy!
I also learned yesterday that whatever lesions were in my right leg are gone. The chemo must have taken care of them and as a result I don't have to do as much radiation.
I'm very excited today!
Andy it is so great to hear you are feeling better :) Love ya Fleabag and Cheri

Told you we gonna kick some asses! so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear you are doing better! Amber told me that my dad brought you over some beer last night. I laughed because my dad would only think to cheer you up with some drinks! You will pull through this! I know you will because you have so many friends and family supporting you and I know that if you needed anything from my family they would be there for you. I feel horrible because I am away at school and wish I could be there to visit you and take care of baby Nicholas for you.

Did you say the chemo took away the spot on your leg and now you will have less radiation? Sounds like prayers are already working towards your recovery. Sleep tight and good night. Carol and Fred
